Gari White is a premium variety of cassava flakes, highly esteemed in West Africa for its unique processing, fine texture, and sharp, sour taste. this, White-colored, fermented cassava product is specifically cherished for “soaking” (drinking with cold water) and for producing smooth, light-textured Eba (a swallow food).

Traditional Usage
  • Soaking/Drinking: This is the most common use. It is mixed with cold water and served with sugar, milk, roasted groundnuts (peanuts), or kulikuli (peanut cakes).
  • Eba (Swallow): It is mixed with hot water to create a firm or smooth dough, often consumed with soups like okra or egusi.
  • Ready-to-Eat: Due to its crispy nature, it is sometimes eaten dry as a snack.
